King Family Vineyards

King Family Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery 15 minutes west of Charlottesville, Va at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are convenient to Rt. 250, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and only 2 minutes off I-64. Our 16 acre vineyard has produced award winning wines including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Viognier.

We are open for tastings from 10-5:30 p.m. daily with our last tasting beginning at five. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year’s Eve and Day. Tastings are $7 per person and every tasting includes a signature King Family Vineyards wine glass.

Indoor or outdoor seating is available and perfect for picnics. Come enjoy our spectacular mountain views or relax by the fire on chilly days. Come on Sundays in May-September for our free polo matches! Our barrel room is available for group tastings. Please call for group rates.
