The Virginia Glee Club, founded in 1871, is the oldest musical organization at the University of Virginia, and the University's second oldest organization of any kind, after the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society.
Throughout its history, the Virginia Glee Club has been consistently recognized as a leader among American men's choruses. The group has toured widely, both domestically and abroad, and has collaborated with the finest women's choruses in the eastern and southern United States. Concerts are given through out the school year.
