The Spot (Vu Noodles and Greenie's)

Vu Noodles is the inspiration of home chef Julie Vu Whitaker. Born in Vietnam, Julie immigrated to Waynesboro, Virginia at the age of 8. Growing up in her mother’s kitchen, she learned the art of cooking traditional Vietnamese dishes and cultivated a passion for the tastes passed down from her Vietnamese roots. Julie enjoys experimenting with traditional Vietnamese/Thai cuisine and creating her own versions of traditional dishes. She takes such pride in her dishes that she decided to share her creations with others. Julie is proud to offer her customers “Vu Noodle” bowls – a healthy, ethnic food option, conveniently packaged as “grab and go” meals. Julie’s creations are freshly made each week, with no preservatives and whole, fresh ingredients. Try her Veggie Peanuts and Noodles, Tofu Curry and Noodles, or Tofu and Caramelized Onions over Wide Noodles. She also offers Ginger, Lemongrass on Rice Noodles, which is made with gluten free ingredients. Pick up a bowl for lunch or take it home for a quick, easy dinner!
