...to share your ideas and give input as part of a major branding initiative for Charlottesville and Albemarle County.
Friday, July 27, 2012 - The Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau invites locals and visitors alike to share their thoughts on the greater Charlottesville area as a tourism destination. By completing a short online survey, participants will actively contribute in the CACVB's efforts to elaborate a new brand identity for the destination. Every participant will be entered to win one of three $100 gift cards.
This input will be extremely valuable, as it will allow Payne, Ross & Associates, in collaboration with the CACVB, to design a brand identity, which is accurate, contemporary, and a true reflection of what Charlottesville and Albemarle County have become as a tourism destination over the past few years.
"Let's face it, we are no longer solely a historic destination. With so much more to offer now in terms of great food, amazing wines, the arts and music, it is time to dust off the current brand and propose a refreshed identity, which conveys a renewed sense of energy and excitement," says Kurt Burkhart, Executive Director for the CACVB.
Participants should complete the survey no later than Tuesday, July 31. It is easily accessible by visiting the CACVB's web site at www.visitcharlottesville.org/survey .
