KESWICK, VA – October 28, 2019 – The Club at Glenmore is proud to announce “Town Day” on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11th, 2019. Residents of Charlottesville, Albemarle and surrounding counties and their guests are invited to enjoy a round of golf on Veterans Day in support of those who serve our Country.
Non-member golfers are invited to play Glenmore’s private, members-only golf course for just $75, which includes green fee, cart fee, range and a boxed lunch. Active military or veteran players are welcome to play for $65. There will be an 11am shotgun start for all players, with check-in at 10:30am. To make reservations email or call the Glenmore Pro Shop (434) 817-0502.
The Club at Glenmore will donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to The Freedom Fund and Gratitude Charlottesville. Founder Michael Kaminski said, “I hope everyone will follow The Club at Glenmore’s lead and take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we all enjoy, including a carefree afternoon on an amazingly beautiful golf course. Freedoms made possible by a veteran’s sacrifice. There are no mulligans on the battlefield. Get out and golf Glenmore Monday. God Bless the American soldier. USA!  Fore!”
Since coming under new, local ownership in June 2018, extensive restorations to the Club’s ballroom and gathering spaces have been completed to better serve its members and the community, with more planned in 2020.  Director of Golf, Jack Snyder stated, “Town Day is our way of inviting the local community to join us in recognizing Veterans Day by supporting local military families.” For more info about The Club at Glenmore, or to schedule a visit, call or contact Michelle DeLang Conner at (434) 817-0508 or
