The ambience of an elegant meal at The Boar's Head Mill Room will now be joined by the mellow sounds of live music! Sweet tunes are scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.
Carter Mountain Orchard hosts a very special Thursday Evening Sunset Series through early October each year, with different bands and food trucks pop-up each week. Attendees can bring their lawn chairs and blankets to set out on the grass and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Tickets are required for access to the top of the mountain.
This free concert series takes place every Friday from mid-April through early-September at the Ting Pavilion (an open-air stage at the east end of the historic Downtown Mall). The 2025 summer schedule features local artists performing a wide range of musical styles and will see collaborations with a number of local organizations, celebrating the diverse and creative communities throughout Charlottesville; there is truly something for everyone!
Each week, volunteers work the concessions (food and drinks) on behalf of a variety of local non-profits who share in the proceeds, which raises tens of thousands of dollars to support their work in our community.
