Pollak Vineyards, a dream of Margo and David Pollak, is a boutique-sized winery on a 98-acre farm in Greenwood, Virginia, just west of Charlottesville. With the goal of making French-style wines from estate-grown grapes, the Pollaks have created a winery with superb wines and spectacular views. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy with a glass of wine on the spacious veranda with views of the mountains, pond and vineyards. Varieties include chardonnay, viognier, pinot gris, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot.
