The Fralin Museum of Art exhibits art from around the world dating from ancient times to the present day. In addition to its permanent collection, the Museum presents an ongoing schedule of changing exhibitions, accompanied by related programs and publications.
The Museum maintains a collection of nearly 14,000 objects in its permanent collection. The Fralin's collection highlights include European and American painting, photography, works on paper, African art, and American Indian art.
The Fralin is committed to providing all members of our diverse community with direct experience of works of art, from infants to seniors and university students to scholars. In service of this mission, we design educational programming to reach the broadest possible audience, while serving the needs of individual groups as well. Special tours, workshops, talks and lectures, and family programs offer exciting opportunities for everyone.
The Museum is handicapped accessible. Admission is free; donations are welcome. Select parking available behind the museum and in the A-6 lot adjacent to Madison Bowl.
