Founded in 1955 and on-air since 1957, WTJU 91.1 FM began as an educational radio station at the University of Virginia. For more than six decades, we have continued to extend UVA’s educational mission and bring people together through music and conversation, including performances from the Stage at the radio station.

Offbeat Roadhouse invites a different musical group from around North America each Friday night for an hour-long concert live from WTJU’s performance space.
