Encaustic 102 with Kristie Wood is for students who have taken a previous encaustic workshop. The 102 class will explore advanced techniques used in the encaustic process and have more hands-on time, less discussion.
This is your chance to expand your knowledge of encaustic painting! Also known as "hot wax painting," this technique applies layers of wax onto the canvas, often creating a soft and eerie effect.

Various objects will be available for experimentation, such as photos, feather, string, etc., but feel free to bring your own! All other supplies will be provided. Space is limited. This for students 16 and up.
