Join us for a day of free hands-on art making for all ages.
On Saturday Sept. 23rd SSG will open up the gallery to families focusing on providing art-making activities for children. The theme this year is “Made with Love”, in honor of our strong community. There will be a number of local artists (Sarah Boyts Yoder, Susan Northington, Michelle Gagliano, Aaron Eichorst, Sally McDowell, Ailey Greig, and Lou Haney), on hand to assist with the art-making stations such as painting a large canvas mural, making heart mandalas with found objects, and printing with shapes to make post cards to send to loved ones. Family Art Day is a fantastic community event, free and open to the public. Come and join us for our 13th annual celebration of bringing families together in the gallery to embrace artwork and fun!
