MTTS: Paranoia and Trust in the Cyberworld

On the mornings of home football games, distinguished UVA faculty give lectures on a variety of topics. Lifetime Learning partners with the Alumni Association to offer these public events. All talks are FREE with registration and held 10:00 – 11:00 am at Alumni Hall. Seating is limited.
This panel addresses the impact of cybersecurity on everyone’s daily life. Cybersecurity attacks such as phishing, ransomware, and other malware have broad social and economic impacts. In addition, new smart devices and the Internet of Things are creating new cybersecurity and privacy challenges with large scale impacts.
