Salvaticus / Earthling / Lord Almighty / Fulton Ave.

Nocturnal Reign Presents:

Salvaticus – Bleak black metal in the hands of rural Virginians geographically separated from the cold Scandinavian terrain from whence it spawned. It’s a little less wintry and a little more mysterious here. Compositions designed to project intensity and fantastical, unreal destinations.

Earthling – Earthling began in the early 2009 as a project between Harrisonburg VA natives Alan Fary (Guitar/Vox) & Brently Hilliard (Drums). After several short lived line-ups the band solidified with Praveen Chhetri (guitar) & Jordan Brunk (bass). Having released two three song demos, a 7″ split and extensive touring of the DIY circuit of the area, the band has crafted a crusty black thrashing heavy metal sound drawing influence from across the spectrum of heavy music.

Lord Almighty – Ritualistic, earthy black metal from Boston. Their long-reaching roots constrict around the mold of traditional metal, crushing it completely.

Fulton Ave. – Slow to take shape, but ferocious once completed, Fulton Ave is a no frills metal band comprised of some of the most experienced players in the central Virginia area. The brainchild of drummer Jordan Marchni (Bella Morte), Fulton Ave was conceptualized as a band looking to bring aggression back into the local scene. Joined by bassist and producer JJ Williams (In Tenebris) and local session guitarist Drew Curtis, the band began to take shape and the first tracks were recorded. Guitarist Justin Melton was later brought in to further enhance the group’s live sound and sonic capabilities. The final piece came in the form of Vocalist Kim Dylla (GWAR, Kung Fu Dykes, Thismeansyou) who joined the group in mid-2016. With straight forward riffs, a crushing rhythm section, haunting melodies, and lyrics that scream far past obscene, Fulton Ave isn’t looking to appease popular metal trends. They’re looking to tear them apart.current members of GWAR, Bella Morte, Oh So, and In Tenebris.

Plus, tonight will be our official Miller Lite Launch Nite, featuring a life-sized Guy Fieri cutout (photo ops will be available!) and contests for best corpse paint and best Guy Fieri costume!
