Our children’s emotional well being is a crucial part of their development. Through mindfulness and yoga, our children are able to learn how to regulate their emotions, and establish better relationships with themselves and others. Bellow is an example of some additional benefits that can be achieved from mindfulness and yoga;

1) Improves focus, concentration and memory 2) Reduces anxiety 3) Strengthens immune system 4) Promotes happiness

Workshop Overview: Our Mindfulness & Yoga workshop, is for children between the ages of 8 through 11, created to invoke awareness, peace and a sense of balance. This creative collaboration of movement, sound, breath and art, will run throughout the week of spring break. Parents are welcome to stay and observe, parents also have the option to drop children off. Each workshop explores a specific mindfulness lesson in addition to:

Breathing Exercises (Pranayama) Yamas & Niyamas (Mindful principles) Yoga Asana (Postures) Mantras (Positive affirmations) Mindful Expression (Art/Creative writing)
