Join Coming Home Well for a free educational panel discussion on traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a progressive degenerative brain disease caused by repeated blows to the head. Since the year 2000, the Defense and Veteran Brain Injury Center reports over 350,000 military traumatic brain injuries during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The basis of the panel is to increase awareness of the latest research for diagnosing and treating TBI and CTE, discuss the lasting effects on this generation of Warfighters and encourage productive conversations on ways we as a community can support our veterans.
