Join Second Street Gallery on Friday, September 7th for the much-anticipated opening reception for "Teeny Tiny Trifecta!"
Teeny Tiny Trifecta kicks off the gallery’s 45th Season and will consist of three works of art, by each artist, in a wide range of styles, techniques, and mediums, all measuring 10 inches or smaller. Curated by SSG’s Executive Director and Chief Curator, Kristen Chiacchia, "Teeny Tiny Trifecta" is inspired by both Cabinets of Curiosities as well as the Paris Salons of the 19th Century, but with a modern twist. The exhibition aims to showcase the wide range of talented artists in Virginia (and beyond!) while providing an accessible introduction to contemporary art collecting. All work will be priced at $100, so this is a great opportunity for collectors of all budgets to purchase a work of art by some of their favorite artists. The exhibition will feature the work of over 70 creatives, including some local favorites Sam Gray, Stacey Evans, Eileen French, Michelle Gagliano, Lou Haney, Ken Horne, Sarah Boyts Yoder and many more!
SSG will open its doors for First Friday at 6 pm sharp. No one will be admitted into the gallery until 6 pm without a special preview ticket (stay tuned for info on how to get yours!).
The exhibit will be up until 9/28/18. SSG is open Tu-Fr from 11-5 and Saturdays 11-4.
