University of Virginia Library's Day of Mini

Please join the University of Virginia Library and the Virginia Center for the Book for a very special Day of Mini! on Saturday, August 25 from 10am to 12pm. This family-friendly event will celebrate our current exhibition Eminent Miniatures: From the McGehee Miniature Book Collection - Selected by Caroline Brandt on display in the First Floor Gallery of the Harrison Institute and Small Special Collections Library. The event will begin with miniature book story time by exhibition curator, Molly Schwartzburg at 10:15 am, followed by open-ended mini book decoration and printing demonstrations on a miniature press by the Virginia Center for the Book. This event is free and open to all, refreshments will be served. Hourly parking available in the Central Grounds Parking Garage.
