Ever since, among other collaborations they have played on each other's albums, made music videos, and were readers for the other's books. This is the first time they're going on tour together. Well, except for that time when they were in a band and drove 11,000 miles in a Chevy van that needed a replacement engine along the way. But that is another story. Annie and Gabriel are dedicated, passionate songwriters and singers who conjure up magical music for the heart and mind. They will variously play solo sets, song conversations, and as a duo. Annie is a writer and songwriter living in Ann Arbor, Michigan (via Maine and San Francisco). She emerged from a loss-filled five years with 2024's Storm, praised as "a landmark release" (Glide), "mature and sophisticated songwriting" (AmericanaUK), and "brilliant nostalgic elegance" (The Wild Is Calling). She has also composed a folk opera, co-created a full-length musical, and is working on a novel on themes of motherhood & war. Gabriel is a modern-day troubadour native to Charlottesville, Virginia, who has worked as a house painter, shepherd, cook, bartender, server, dockworker at a lobsterman's co-op, and camera operator. But whatever his day/night job, and wherever on earth it finds him, he is writing songs. For his new record, Sir Dude Man & the Wandering Blues, Goldstein called upon trusted friends and collaborators, including former bandmates from San Francisco nautical-rock band Sweet Crude Bill, to create a whimsical, poignant musical mosaic.

This is an indoor pub-style show with first-come seating and general admission standing. Draft beer and cider, wine by the bottle and glass, epic sandwich menu and soup specials. Come hungry; come thirsty; come ready for a good time! Preorder tickets for guaranteed entry or bring cash for the door.
