The Jefferson School African American Heritage Center Brings the Community Together for the Annual Holiday Celebration.

What: Celebrate the season with Jefferson School African American Heritage Center

When: Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Experience the magic of the season at our free family fun afternoon, featuring holiday music by the Charlottesville Community Choir, professional photos with Black Santa, hot chocolate, apple cider, and hands-on kids’ crafts, including making Mkeka mats and decorating cookies.

Kwanzaa libation begins at 2:00 pm, followed by music by the Charlottesville Community Choir. Professional photos with Black Santa and kid crafts will be available throughout the event.
