Cake on the Lawn

Cake on the Lawn is back! Join the UVA and Charlottesville communities for an afternoon of cake, live music, and connection at this student-run philanthropic event. Bakers will bring their homemade cake creations to share while live bands and a cappella groups perform throughout the afternoon, creating a lively atmosphere in one of UVA’s most beloved spaces.

Guests can sample a wide variety of cakes and enjoy time with friends on the Lawn.

Proceeds from this semester’s event will support Camp Kesem, an organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by a parent’s cancer.

Whether you’re bringing a cake to share or simply coming to taste and enjoy the music, Cake on the Lawn is a celebration of creativity, community, and giving back.
