Edible, Medicinal, Utilitarian Plant Walk

Steve Pullinger, avid forager, Master Naturalist, and experienced primitive technology and survivalist skill teacher, will lead a three-hour class/walk on edible, medicinal, and utilitarian plants. We’ll take an easy stroll around the farm, where we’ll discuss the uses of more than 20 different plants you can find in our area. We'll ID and sample some of the edibles and discuss how to process them, ID and discuss the uses of the medicinal plants and, finally, show how some of the utilitarian plants can be made into cordage or implements, or used for friction fire creation.
