Are you curious about invasive plants and how to manage them? Join us for the January Invasive Plants Walk at the Garden on Thursday, January 8th, at 10 a.m. This hour-long walk is a collaboration between the Garden and Blue Ridge PRISM, a local organization that addresses invasive species in the region. During the walk, experts will guide you through the landscape, pointing out harmful invasive plants.

Invasive species can harm local ecosystems. They outcompete native plants and disrupt biodiversity. Our experts will explain how these plants impact the environment and share tips on how to manage them. Whether you are an experienced gardener or just getting started, the walk will provide useful insights.

This event has limited spaces. Be sure to register today. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about local invasive plants.

But there’s more! After the walk, join us for the January Invasive Workday on Wednesday, January 21st, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity to take action. Help remove invasive plants and restore the local ecosystem alongside volunteers. Your participation will make a difference in preserving our environment for future generations.

By working together, we can protect native plants and improve the health of our gardens. Don’t miss out—reserve your space today and make an impact!
