Local Guitarist Returns to VA with Rae the Band from NYC

Fronted by musicians from across the globe, Rae the Band combines retro funk rhythms with raw soul vocals. Their live shows are a mix of deep groove and unfiltered energy-music that moves your body and your feelings.

This tour is especially meaningful to the band's lead guitarist, Clayton Ware, who grew up in Mathews, VA performing in venues throughout Gloucester, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, and Staunton.

"Coming back to play in the towns that shaped me musically is huge," says Ware. "I'm proud to bring the full band down here and share what we've built in NYC with the community that raised me."
