Looking for a family-friendly day in nature where you can get plugged into the community? Look no further!

Join The Piedmont Environmental Council at Montfair Resort Farm for a unique summer day dedicated to enjoying the outdoors and learning about conservation work in the region – we'll have a birding and nature walk, informal chats about landscape-scale conservation and expanding public trails including the Three Notched Trail.

There will also be open fishing in the well-stocked lake (bring your own gear), four canoes available for use, miles of trails to explore, a food truck and live music. You'll leave both more plugged into your community environmental organization and recharged from a day amongst the trees.
