Grab a friend and join us for an afternoon of creative merriment surrounded by the smell of freshly cut pine! Making a holiday wreath with locally harvested greenery natural elements is a great way to unplug and connect with nature, friends, and yourself. We promise you'll walk away with your cup feeling full!

Whether you are new to wreathmaking or a veteran, this workshop is sure to delight. Hope Henderson, owner of FLORA Design in Charlottesville will lead you through some design theory as well as technical tricks of the trade to make a lush wreath to hang up or give to someone you love. What could be merrier?

Workshop includes:

Wreath form and wire

A wide variety of evergreens to elevate your creation beyond grocery-store-boxwood

Locally harvested natural adornments to add your own style

Snips, gloves, and an apron to borrow

Expert yet laid back instruction

A sweet holiday vibe including tea and light snacks

Finishing mist of an organic, biodegradable spray that will prolong your wreath’s life

Other notes:

If this is your first wreathmaking class, know that it can take over an hour. That’s why we recommend signing up with friends; it’s such a wonderful activity to do together while catching up!

While we will provide work gloves (3 sizes available) and aprons, we recommend not wearing your best clothes as pine sap can stain.
