1353 Thomas Jefferson Parkway, Charlottesville, VA 22902
Thomas Jefferson and Philip Mazzei chose the very same site when they grew grapes here almost 250 years ago. Back then, our estate was the site of Virginia's first wine company and commercial vineyard. With our present operation, we have bridged the origins of winemaking by introducing quality modern viticulture and winemaking practices to Virginia, helping realize Jefferson’s dream.
Our award-winning wines range from delicate and refreshing, to elegant, full-bodied and rich. Our most notable wines include Viognier, Petit Verdot, Meritage and orange styled wines. We also carry a range of age worthy library reserve wines that highlight some of the most exquisite vintages. During select times of the year, we offer these special wines for tasting.
Come sample our wines. Sip a glass of Viognier on the lawn or savor our wines while enjoying our heated indoor seating areas. We are open seven days a week. Classic Tastings are $12 and include a souvenir glass. Library Reserve tastings are $25 and include a Riedel crystal souvenir glass. Private group tastings can be arranged with an online reservation ONLY and special pricing. Please visit our website www.jeffersonvineyards.com/Visit for current information on hours, tasting options and our group policy.
