Join an expertly guided walking tour of historic downtown Charlottesville! Stroll around the Court Square familiar to Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe. Learn about the early years of Charlottesville, its citizens, businesses and buildings. During a one-hour tour, you will see reminders of over 250 years of our community's heritage. You may join us throughout the season for a Thursday evening tour at 5:30pm, or a Saturday morning tour at 10:00am. Tours leave each week from the steps of the McIntire Building (200 Second Street NE), and do not require a reservation. Though the tour is free, a donation of $5 per person is encouraged.
