June Guest Artist- The Petal and Wheel, "Inspired by Nature"

Join us in June for “Inspired by Nature,” featuring guest artists Liz Beavers and Karen Andersen of The Petal and Wheel. Based in Staunton, Virginia, the ceramic artists create functional and decorative pottery inspired by gardens, natural forms, and architectural landscapes, using both wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques. Liz’s whimsical glaze work and imagined landscapes reflect her longtime connection to nature-inspired sculpture, while Karen’s background in sustainable agriculture and carpentry informs her love of botanical motifs, geometric forms, and crisp slab-built designs.
