The Virginia Guesthouse is more than just a place to stay — it’s the new “front door” to the University of Virginia. Nestled on Grounds as part of the Ivy Corridor redevelopment, our Guesthouse is designed to serve as a welcoming hub for students, families, scholars, prospective applicants, visiting athletes, alumni, and visitors from around the world. Whether you’re here for an academic conference, reunion, campus visit, or simply to explore Charlottesville, we’re honored to be your home-away-from-home.

The Virginia Guesthouse features 214 guest rooms and suites, offering comfort and flexibility for a wide range of visitors from solo travelers and families to larger groups. The rooms are designed to blend timeless charm with modern convenience: thoughtful furnishings, inviting décor, and amenities that make every stay feel relaxing and connected to Grounds.

In addition to luxury accommodations, our conference center will include expansive and flexible meeting and event spaces of more than 25,000 square feet of technologically equipped meeting rooms, ballrooms, boardrooms, a rooftop suite and terrace, and pre‑function areas suitable for conferences, symposiums, celebrations, and gatherings of all sizes. Ground‑floor public spaces and our welcoming center will also provide students, visitors and community members with comfortable environments to socialize, study, or simply enjoy being on Grounds.
