As the professional summer theatre hosted at the University of Virginia since 1974, the Heritage Theatre Festival is now the Virginia Theatre Festival. For over 45 years, our theatre has presented an annual summer festival of musicals, classic works, and new plays for our local Charlottesville, Albemarle, and UVA communities.
