First Fridays May 3rd, Art Mix at Ix!

Art Mix at Ix is bringing a range of Diverse! Interactive! and Artful Experiences to Charlottesvilles evening landscape on Friday, May 3rd!

In addition to The Looking Glass Immersive Art Museum and the Art Bar Lounge, we are hosting three artists collaborating to fill the evening with sight and sound experiences!

Chicho Lorenzo, a Madrid native with global reach, and Charlottesville favorite will be Live Painting in Art Bar Lounge from open to close, capturing your energy and letting the event take the work wherever it goes!

Drew Jordan is a fan of all things music and has a serious passion to help others express themselves, let loose, and connect to others through DJing and producing laidback hip hop beats. Drew will be DJ'ing in Art Bar Lounge all night collaborating with the energy we want you to bring!

Technology Artist Jeff Dobrow, creating vibrant, unexpected art on historic structures domestic and abroad, will projection map the larger than life murals on the Ix's concrete piazza and debut two new pieces in The Art Bar Lounge.

Derek Weakley, cocktail artist, will be whipping up all kinds of powerful magic to make your evening even better!
