Show title: Two Takes on Clay

We're excited to welcome Holly Horan and John Pluta for a special joint exhibition celebrating two distinct yet complementary approaches to clay.

John Pluta creates imaginative sculptures that blend clay with wood and vintage objects, bringing whimsical characters and creatures to life. His work invites viewers into a world where storytelling and craftsmanship meet, with each piece revealing a unique personality and sense of wonder.

Holly Horan creates functional pottery that is as beautiful as it is useful. Her hand-built serving platters, flower vases, heart rattles, luminaries, and shadow casters are decorated with intricate slip-trailed patterns and finished in calming shades of sky blue and earthy browns. Inspired by her love of cooking and entertaining, Holly's work is designed to bring warmth and beauty into everyday life. This exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to experience John's imaginative sculptural world alongside Holly's thoughtfully crafted functional pottery. Together, their work reflects a shared passion for clay, creativity, and the vibrant community of American craft.
