Flora Printing and Bookmaking with Lotta Helleberg

Join us on Thursday, September 10 from 5:30–7:00PM when "Teeny Tiny Trifecta 8" Curator’s Choice exhibiting artist Lotta Helleberg will lead us in making a unique accordion-style book made of natural papers and local flora prints. Learn how to create a basic hand-stitching booklet technique that you can expand and customize to fit your style.

Helleberg is a Swedish-born, Charlottesville-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates textile, print, and book works to celebrate the beauty, fragility, and resilience of nature and local plant life.

The workshop is available at $30 SSG members / $40 non-members. This fee covers wine, workshop instruction, and access to all workshop materials for the activity.
