Hasler Yancy with Meraki

Hasler Yancey is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for local alt-rock/jam band HASH. Formed in 2023, HASH has quickly established a presence in the Charlottesville music scene, releasing original music and performing alongside acts including Kendall Street Company, Indecision, and The Barons. Hasler continues to develop his own sound through songwriting and live performance.

Meraki is a Charlottesville indie-rock trio featuring Rowan Doran (guitar), Elijah Hindman (vocals), and Tate Ryan (drums). The band formed in the summer of 2024 at the Music Resource Center's songwriting camp. Drawing influence from Radiohead, Modern Baseball, and local favorites Work Wear, Meraki combines melodic songwriting with unconventional rhythms and an alternative rock sound. The band won the Music Resource Center's Battle of the Bands in 2025 and has since performed at several Charlottesville venues and local events.
