About the Book: Inspired by the real-life collision of Irish designer Eileen Gray and famed Swiss architect Le Corbusier and the extraordinary place that bound them, Villa E boldly reimagines a now-infamous feud into a lushly poetic and mesmerizing novel of power, predation, memory, and obsession.

About the Author: Jane Alison is the author of four previous novels and a memoir, The Sisters Antipodes, as well as translations of Ovid's stories of sexual transformation. She's also written a book on the craft and theory of writing: Meander, Spiral, Explode: Design and Pattern in Narrative. Her new novel is Villa E, a reimagining of the collision of architects Eileen Gray and Le Corbusier. She is a professor of creative writing at the University of Virginia.
