Local Albemarle residents of all backgrounds have their stories preserved at the Library of Virginia (LVA) via Legislative petitions and war service narratives of their war service — along with maps, wills, newspapers and other documents. LVA historian Eric Johnson will give an engaging history talk rooted in local firsthand accounts of the Revolutionary era. Light snacks provided.
