The Women’s Initiative Presents: Challenge Into Change Community Celebration

Every story shared is an opportunity to help someone feel less alone.

Join The Women’s Initiative at The Paramount Theater for the 2026 Challenge Into Change Community Celebration, an evening of storytelling honoring resilience and healing through the voices of our community.

Since 2008, Challenge Into Change has invited women and members of the gender-expansive community to share personal stories through prose and poetry. At this year’s celebration, participating authors will read selections from the 2026 Challenge Into Change book as we honor their stories and the courage it takes to share them.

The evening will also feature keynote speaker Kerry Docherty, co-founder of Faherty and author of Selfish: Unlearning, Reclaiming, and Telling the Truth.
