WTJU Puzzle Hunt

Now in its 6th year, the WTJU Puzzle Hunt is a citywide cerebral puzzle that combines an escape room with a scavenger hunt. These fun, interactive puzzles will have you and a team of friends exploring downtown Charlottesville. It's organized by WTJU 91.1 FM, Charlottesville's community radio station.

Cost: Free to enter. A $10 per adult donation is suggested. You can also give $20 per player to cover your team plus one person who can't afford to contribute.

Team size: 3 to 6 people is suggested, but teams of any size are welcome.

How it works: Teams gather at IX Art Park at 2:30 p.m. for announcements and an opening clue. From there, the puzzles lead you around downtown, and the hunt wraps up with a final puzzle back at IX Art Park. No puzzle experience is needed, just curiosity and a few good teammates.
