Charlottesville and Albemarle County have a thriving arts and culture scene, providing an exciting and art-filled experience for visitors and locals alike.

From the 15,000+ seat John Paul Jones Arena, the historic Paramount Theater, and The Ting Pavilion to more intimate venues like The Southern Café and Music Hall, The Front Porch, or The Jefferson Theater. The arts are on display at Charlottesville’s dozens of art galleries, including the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection, the only museum in the US dedicated to Australian Aboriginal art, and the Fralin Museum of Art, a free museum at the University of Virginia offering a diverse collection for the enrichment of the students and community. Take a short drive outside of Charlottesville City to nearby Albemarle County communities, like Crozet, to browse the quaint Crozet Artisan Depot housed in the Historic Train Depot, or Scottsville, to view a variety of exhibits, performances, and other events at Scottsville Center for Arts & Nature.
